First-Time Grantees Make Big Community Impact
Doylestown, PA (April 13, 2026) – Foundations Community Partnership (FCP) recently awarded its spring Partnership in Youth Services (PYS) Grant to eight nonprofits serving children, young adults, and families in Bucks County, Pa. Collectively, these organizations will help address the behavioral health and human service needs of 1,165 Bucks County residents.
“This marks the fourth year we intentionally encouraged nonprofits that never received funding from us to share their innovative ideas and impactful programs,” said Falesha Grasty, Chair of FCP’s Board of Directors. “Learning about their missions and people they serve and figuring out how we can best support their efforts has been at the core of our grantmaking since 2007.”
A $5,000 PYS Grant was awarded to the following nonprofits:
- Project Back 2 School – to equip children with essential school supplies to support their academic performance, mental health, and social connections.
- Zip With Us – to produce customized, medically-adapted shirts and onesies for pediatric, child, and young-adult patients with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
- KenCrest Services – to provide behavioral intervention through its SWIFT Support program, preventing early childhood school suspensions and expulsions through teacher training and direct support.
- Guardian Angels Foundation – to improve menstrual health, hygiene, and overall well-being among underserved adolescent girls.
- CORA Services – to expand the reach of its Family Navigation Center to serve more families in Bucks County.
- Flying Change Foundation – to support social, emotional, and cognitive growth for youth through instructor-led exercises with program horses and ponies.
- Helping Friendly Farm – to support the accessible education and therapeutic group visit program.
- Bensalem Athletics Association – to complete field renovations to accommodate program growth across baseball and softball.
