Dr. Patty Smallacombe Appointed to Foundations Community Partnership Board of Directors
Doylestown, PA (March 29, 2019) — Foundations Community Partnership, a philanthropic grant-making foundation supporting the behavioral health and human service needs of children and young adults in Bucks County has announced the appointment of Patricia Stern Smallacombe, Ph.D., to its Board of Directors for a three-year term.
Patty is Manager, Grants, in the Advancement Division of Bucks County Community College, where she is responsible for managing the grant proposal process and monitoring grant implementation for the college. She also serves as an instructor in the college’s Social and Behavioral Sciences Department. Patty was formerly Senior Vice President, Community Impact, at United Way of Bucks County and Community Resource Developer at Family Service Association of Bucks County. Patty has also held research and training roles at Franklin Institute of Philadelphia and University of Pennsylvania, where she earned a Ph.D. in Sociology. Patty graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harvard University with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies.
