FCP Board Awards $80,000 in General Operating Support Grants to Local Nonprofits
Doylestown, PA (May 30, 2025) – Foundations Community Partnership’s (FCP) Board of Directors recently awarded $80,000 to three nonprofits as part of its annual General Operating Support grant cycle. These grants support nonprofits focused on the behavioral health and human service needs of children, young adults, and families in Bucks County, Pa.
The Board of Directors started targeted funding grants several years ago focused on autism and homelessness before starting to offer unrestricted operating support in 2021. “These grants are designed to help nonprofits address pressing needs, support innovation, and increase flexibility,” said Tracy Pasternak Willis, FCP Board Chair. “Collectively, these organizations serve 57,816 Bucks County residents through their programs and services.”
FCP awarded General Operating Support Grants to:
- Bucks County Opportunity Council ($25,000): to further enhance its model for breaking through generational poverty in Bucks County, by ensuring programs focus on upstream strategies to prevent future crises and homelessness.
- Valley Youth House ($25,000): to expand “The Synergy Project” to Upper Bucks County, helping identify and support young people experiencing homelessness who otherwise would be without resources or assistance.
- Woods Services ($30,000): to build upon an existing integrated care philosophy and respond to the changing landscape of service delivery, funding mechanisms, and policy environment for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
