FCP Board Aids Bucks Nonprofits Stricken by Pandemic

Nonprofit organizations have been especially hard hit by the COVID-19 pandemic as community need is greater than ever. In an effort to quickly respond to the crises, Foundations Community Partnership (FCP) created the COVID-19 Response Grant program to provide a source of funding to organizations serving Bucks County children, youth and families in need. Following a $10,000 emergency donation to the Bucks County United Way in March, this week FCP’s board of directors approved $230,000 in COVID-19 response grant funding to be distributed to 51 nonprofits throughout the county.
The grant recipients are: Advocates for Homeless & Those in Need, Children’s Developmental Program, Ivy Hill Therapeutic Equestrian Center, LifePath (Ridge Crest), Minding Your Mind National Alliance on Mental Illness of PA, Bucks County Chapter, The Baby Bureau, Woods Services Inc., Worthwhile Wear, Bethany Christian Services of the Greater Delaware Valley, Cancer Support Community Greater Philadelphia Community, Conservatory of Music, Comprehensive Learning Center, Family Service Association of Bucks County, Lenape Valley Foundation, NGA-Needlework Guild of America, Snipes Farm & Education Center, YMCA of Bucks County, ATG Learning Academy, Autism Cares Foundation, Bucks County Housing Group, Easter Seals of Southeastern PA, One House at a Time, Peace Valley Holistic Center, Refuge Child Care Academy and Special Equestrians.
Also receiving grants: The Council of Southeast Pennsylvania Inc., Penndel Mental Health Center, BARC Developmental Services, Maternity Care Coalition, Grand View Health Foundation, Bucks County Community College Foundation, Heritage Conservancy, Christ’s Home, Bucks County Audubon Society, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County, Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania Inc., Valley Youth House Committee Inc., Mercer Museum of the Bucks County Historical Society, A Woman’s Place, Bucks County Opportunity Council, Bucks County Playhouse Theater Inc., Coalition to Shelter and Support the Homeless, Family Promise of Lower Bucks, HealthLink Dental Clinic, KidsPeace National Centers Inc., Lily’s Hope Foundation, Network of Victim Assistance (NOVA), Potential Inc., YWCA Bucks County and Pegasus Therapeutic Riding Academy.
